A top stallion in personality, performance and by inheritance. Landjonker began his breeding career in the Netherlands. Under the name of Frühling he took his stallion performance test in Ermelo in 1990 and finished with the highest marks. He won and was highly placed in medium to advanced level jumping. Like his sire Landadel, he has proven to be homozygous dark bay (no chestnuts).
Sire: The HLP-winner Landadel has left his sustainable mark as a sire on his progeny. Already from his first crops of foals he produced with Le Cou Cou, Landfriese I, Landstern and Landjonker outstanding licensed sons that also proved themselves in sports. Landadel ranks among the leading sires of Germany. A lot of his progeny reached the top level of show jumping already at an early age.
Dam: Griselda was also bred to Feinbrand, which resulted in the black stallion Frels. Her sire Tin Rocco found his way to the breed of Holstein and Oldenburg through own great achievements in jumping at high level. He was able to assert himself as sire in all disciplines. His son Let's go presented himself many times successfully on international level in show jumping. Several daughters of Tin Rocco became dams of licensed stallions, e.g. by Continue
/ Stud Schockemöhle. In third generation we have the thoroughbred Manolete xx who was one of those, who paved the way for the Oldenburg breed to a modern sports horse. Out of his dam line descended the internationally highly successful dressage horse Brillant/Beatriz Ferrer-Salat (Spain), the licensed Argentinus sons Aventyno and Avellynus, as well as Sir Willson, the winner of the ZfDP stallion performance test in Kreuth in 2002.

So far, Landjonker has produced ten licensed sons for Germany. Landboy was the winner of the Mecklenburg stallion performance test 2001. Fighting Alpha was the unsurpassed winner of the stallion performance test in Redefin and is, parallel to his breeding activity, internationally successful with Lars Nieberg, just as Janosch with Holger Hetzel and Libra under Johannes Ehning. His Offspring are very versatile
with a strong emphasis on jumping, as clearly shown by the FN breeding evaluation. Several Landjonker daughters were awarded state premium. His offspring are nobel and have fascinating movements. Each year, he presents premium and auction foals in many breeding areas.
