About Cody

Cody is a first class performance stallion
Already at the stallion selection, at the 30-days-test and in his competition career to date, he has demonstrated his basic gaits, rideability and spectacular scope and overview at the jump. Thanks to his carefulness, quick reflexes and good technique equipped with an ideal gallop, he can already at the age of 6 offer winnings and placings in show jumping in M* and M** classes, competitions for young horses at L and M level and at qualifiers of the Federal Championship. These abilities are the mirror of his pedigree.

Sire: Cornet Obolensky himself competes highly successful on the international show jumping circuit under Marco Kutscher. He was participant at the Olympics in Hong Kong in 2008 and team European Champion in Madrid in 2011. On the spot, he dominated the events in breeding and sports. With his first progeny he produced more than 50 licensed sons, among them the champions of the NRW stallion selection Coronado I and Coronas, was well as the winner of the Hanoverian stallion selection Cosinhus. With his first crop of foals he produced Cornet's Stern, the winner and Conte Bellini, reserve winner of the Federal Championship 2008 of the 5-year-old show jumping horses. There, he was represented with a record number of 20 descendants. In 2011, 74 of his offspring achieved victories and placing in show jumping in advanced (S) level. In the current FN breeding value estimation, Cornet Obolensky gets a breeding value of 166 points (96% reliability) and is therefore ranked 2nd.

Dam:

Premium mare Da Vigna is full sister to Quattros from the stables Schockemöhle, who successfully competes on the international show jumping circuit. Her granddam produced with Zambo (by Zymbal), Cunterbunt (by Cordalmé), Guana Paka (by Grandeur) and Quizmaster (by Quattro) show jumping horses that were successful in M and S classes. Granddam Denise, by the way, is also full sister to the mare Legende, which, amongst others, produced the Celle state stud sire Stenograph (by Stakkato). From Cody's Hanoverian dam line also decend the licensed stallions Corghano (by Cordalmé), First Gotthard (by Furioso II), Fürstengold (by Furioso II), Fürstenstolz (by Furioso II) and many more.
